Main Aims/Objectives

- Provide students with advanced knowledge on new issues and problems of civil procedural law.

Specific Aims/Objectives

- Enable students to understand the reforms of Portuguese civil procedural laws.

Skills to be acquired

- The debate and discussion of the topics encourage critical sense, allow to know the controversial issues and it has an important role in studies of the 2nd cycle, preparing the students for the dissertation/project phase.

Teaching Procedures

- Theoretical classes, with expository nature, are complemented with tutorial classes, where students will discuss the issues taught in the theoretical classes.

Evaluation Type

- Oral presentation of a theme, realization of a final and individual written work and a mandatory written examination.
